                                    - Identity, art and culture

As a harpist, composer, and interdisciplinary artist, Neam Tarek bridges music, performance, and cultural discourse. Her work challenges traditional narratives, blending classical and experimental approaches while engaging with social and political themes.

This engagement led her to found Forte Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering transcultural exchange, marginals representation, and critical artistic discourse. Established 2020 in Germany. Forte has become a vital platform for diverse artistic voices, collaborations with major cultural institutions, and international exchange. The organization works to bridge communities, promote alternative artistic structures, and create space for new perspectives in the arts & transcultural scene. She is also an elected member of Leipzig’s Migrant Advisory Council (Migrantenbeirat) and has been appointed to various juries.

Beyond her Artistry, Neam Tarek offers consultations, lectures, and workshops on cultural participation, decolonial perspectives in the arts, and collective artistic practices. She collaborates with artists, institutions, and cultural initiatives worldwide, advocating for inclusive and alternative approaches in both artistic and cultural-political landscapes
